Course Format
This course is offered as a hybrid course.
- 1x per week: You will train with a video unit provided by me.
- 1x per week: A live training session, where you can choose flexibly whether to participate from home or on site.
You can take part with or without your baby, although I recommend coming without your baby if possible.
I reserve the right to hold individual lessons online if necessary (e.g. for health reasons). This is very rare.
As I am also a practical instructor, I may be accompanied by students or interns who, under my supervision, take on tasks appropriate to their level of training.
When to Start Postnatal Recovery
- If booking before birth: I recommend starting around 12 weeks after your due date.
- After vaginal birth: ideal start is 6–8 weeks postpartum.
- After caesarean section: wait at least 10 weeks.
???? Is your child already older? No problem! It’s never too late for postnatal recovery.
Who pays for the course
- Statutory health insurance will cover the costs if the course is completed by the end of the ninth month after the birth and you have attended all classes.
- With private health insurance, please check in advance whether your plan covers the course and let me know about any special billing details. You can also send me an email if you would like to participate. I reserve a few places per course for those with private health insurance.
- Missed session: €12.50 for those with statutory health insurance, €25 for those with private health insurance.
What to Expect in the Course
You can look forward to a varied mix of:
- Short theory sessions: explanation of the most important changes in the body during pregnancy and childbirth, plus practical everyday tips.
- Strengthening and sometimes challenging exercises
- Stretching and relaxation (including a short massage if desired)
- Training for pelvic floor, abdomen, back, legs, buttocks, arms, and cardiovascular system
The intensity increases gradually: we start gently and finish with a more challenging workout.
People of all fitness levels can participate in the course.
Your baby is welcome to attend, but will not be actively involved in the exercises.
What do I need to participate
Actually just a little motivation (:
- A camera on your laptop is helpful for home use, but you only need one if you want feedback from me on how you are performing the exercises.
- Fitness loops: occasionally used to intensify exercises. They are available on site. I recommend purchasing a set for home use (optional).
- Example: Avocadostore Fitness Loop Mix
It’s wonderful that you are taking time for your postnatal recovery!
I look forward to meeting you in person and supporting you on your journey.
